Types and functions of links

Links can be divided into single arm links and double arm links according to the structure. Its main function is to hang the elevator to hold the drill when the drill is pulled down. For example, DH150 and SH250, where D represents single arm, S represents both arms, H represents the ring, 150 and 250 represent the rated load of links, the unit is 9.8×103N (tf).

Precautions for using links

• Links must be used in pairs, not in combination, and the effective length difference between new links must not be greater than 3mm; The effective length difference between the two links during use shall not be greater than 5mm (the effective length refers to the distance between the contact point of the ear on the link and the side ear of the big hook and the contact point of the lower ear and the elevator; The effective length difference is the difference in the effective length of a link.
• Select appropriate links according to load requirements. Overload is prohibited.
• Links shall not have any cracks or welds.
• When drilling, tie the two links together to prevent them from swinging and hitting the faucet.
• After handling accidents or strong lifting (more than 1.25 times the rated load of links), it should be stopped in use and inspected for defects and appearance.
• Links in the hook earrings to have a certain degree of freedom of swing, unimpeded card phenomenon.
