How to choose BOP combination

There are two types of blowout preventers, ring boP and ram BOP.

• Annular blowout preventers are divided into single annular blowout preventers and double annular blowout preventers, wherein one annular rubber core and two annular rubber cores are installed respectively.
• We divide the blowout preventer into single-ram, double-ram, and triple-ram boP, with one, two, and three pairs of RAMS installed to seal different strings and empty Wells, respectively.
• Annular blowout preventer is also called multi-effect blowout preventer.Firstly when sealing the well, the annular rubber core is evenly squeezed to the center of the wellbore, secondly which has the advantages of high pressure, reliable sealing, convenient operation and rapid opening and closing. Especially suitable for sealing strings of all forms and sizes, as well as completely sealing wellheads.
• Annular blowout preventers can be divided into conical rubber core, spherical rubber core and cylindrical rubber core blowout preventers.

How to choose BOP combination

1. Firstly,Key considerations when choosing a blowout preventers combination.
2. For instance, the nominal diameter shall match the size of the casing under the casing head.
3. For instance, pressure resistance pressure level should be greater than the expected maximum wellhead pressure may occur.
4. Above all, ype and quantity in the empty well, drilling tools in the well, different diameters of drilling tools and other situations quickly shut in.
