1、BOP2FZ35-35 Indicates the meaning:

2FZ – stands for double ram BOP

Front 35 – indicates a nominal diameter of 346mm

Post 35 – indicates a maximum working pressure of 35MPa

2、Why can’t annular BOP be used for long-term capping?

A: 1) The rubber core will accelerate the aging of rubber and reduce the service life under the action of long-term extrusion.

2)Annular BOP has no mechanical locking device, and high pressure oil must always be kept on the piston during the well sealing process, that is, high pressure oil must always be maintained in the liquid control pipe, and the pipeline is easy to contain leakage under high pressure conditions for a long time, resulting in loss of control at the wellhead.

3、When does BOP carry out routine switch activity inspection?

A: 1) After drilling into the oil and gas reservoir, the half-seal switch of the ram packer should be activated once a day, and the drill pipe of the corresponding size should be in the well when the switch is activated and half-sealed.

2）After entering the oil and gas reservoir, the ring BOP, gate BOP and hydraulic plate valve switch should be activated once before each trip.

5、What is Secondary Well control?

A: It means that the formation pore pressure cannot be controlled by relying on the density of drilling fluid being used in the well, the pressure in the well is unbalanced, the formation fluid enters the well, kicks occur, and the surface overflow occurs. In this case, the surface equipment and appropriate well control technology should be relied on to remove the gas invasion drilling fluid, dispose of the kick, restore the pressure balance in the well, and make it reach the first-level well control state.
